Alison Day Free Tarot Reading Online

My name is Eva Delattre and I have been practicing the fortune telling arts for almost 30 years. I wanted to share my knowledge of tarot reading by offering a completely free draw using the 22 Major Arcana of the tarot.

My experience with the cards is in doing readings for myself, friends, relatives and acquaintances...probably the kind of tarot you are interested in. The tarot cards are not difficult to learn, but there is always more to them that can be learned. They are deceptively simple, but surprisingly rich.

However, many people choose Tarot certification because they want confirmation that they have the skills required to deliver a Tarot reading, and they actually know what they're doing. They want to be a part of a full Tarot training and certification program so that they know they've covered all bases, and don't have to spend countless days, even months, searching for free Tarot classes online without getting the full picture. And they want the increased credibility that comes with certification, especially if they go on to become professional Tarot readers.

Sure, you could probably find some free Tarot lessons online and piece together how to read the Tarot cards, but the quality of these lessons is so varied, and who knows if you're learning the right stuff or not. Not to mention the amount of time it takes to search for the lessons, weed out the dodgy ones, and teach yourself how to read. (Hey, I was self-taught, and it literally took me years to finally work it all out.)

LinkedIn Learning is a boon for job seekers and working professionals alike with over 16,000+ online courses, taught by experts in the field. The first month of this paid subscription service is free and presents a great learning opportunity.

Another great option for free online education is edX. It offers full online courses with teachers, discussion boards, quizzes, and so on, but it tends to focus on (and excel at) courses in math, the sciences, and engineering. Bringing together courses from many different schools, the site has impressive, quality information for everyone.

A very convenient place for free online education is iTunesU, because it integrates seamlessly with your iPod, or any app-ready Apple mobile device. On iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, users download the iTunesU app. The tool offers online courses with full lectures, the ability to take notes on those lectures and assignments to continue learning outside of the lecture environment. However, courses are often a mix of free podcasts or videos, and paid content.

To choose the best sites for free online education, we identified websites that offer at least some free learning programs. We compared topics, certificate options, course options, and other resources. We did not include all possible options.

As caregiving responsibilities become more demanding, it's important to take care of yourself. Take breaks, even if it is only for a few moments. Make sure not to isolate yourself. Learn what respite services are available in your community, and take friends and family up on offers to help. Since paying for long-term care can be a big concern and source of stress, research all your options, if plans are not already in place. To find local services, resources and programs, use our free online Community Resource Finder.
