Windows 7 Folder Background Changer is a free portable tool that allows you to change any folder's background & text color in Windows 7/Vista. It's incompatible with Windows 8 and later.

This issue may occur when deceptive software, such as spyware that is known as "grayware," is installed on your computer. This kind of software may come bundled with software that you want to install or may be included with downloaded web components.

Open the Program_Name folder, and then click the program's "uninstall" file to remove the program (if the file exists). For example, the file might be named Uninst.exe, Uninstall, or Uninstall Program_Name.

Note If you find a folder for the program that you want to remove, but you do not find an "uninstall" file to remove the program, do not delete the folder or the contents of the folder. If you delete the folder or the contents of the folder, you may adversely affect your computer's performance and operation. For example, Windows may not start, programs may not start, or programs may stop running.

Call us old-fashioned, but we don't typically get into desktop customizations. We're not opposed to tweaks that are useful--or even just plain fun--but it seems that much of the time these programs are more trouble than they're worth. So it goes with Folder Background Changer. This program promises to let users customize the background images within their folders, but it doesn't work reliably.

The program required a registration code during installation, which confused us until we realized that it was contained in a text file that came with the download. Once we had the program installed, we clicked the Change Folder Background button, and a dialog came up asking us to choose the folder we wanted to customize. Next we were asked to select the image we wanted to use for the background, and then a color selector came up, though it was unclear what we were selecting colors for. Once that was done, an alert informed us that our desired folder background had been changed, and then the program automatically launched Internet Explorer and took us to the publisher's blog, a feature that definitely discouraged us from continued use of the program. We opened the folder whose background we thought we had changed and ... nothing. We tried different views within the folder, and then we tried running the program several more times, and still, nothing. When we tried the program with a different folder, however, it worked. Folder Background Changer has no Help file, so we have no idea what the explanation for this might be. We're sure that there are other programs that perform the same task with less hassle, and we recommend that users explore those options instead of Folder Background Changer.

Remove.bg for Windows/Mac/Linux is a software that you can drag images into and it removes the background from these images. You can drag images or even whole folders of images from anywhere on your computer and define yourself where to save the background-free images in the settings. You can also pick a background color and size which will be applied to all images.

Beyond crash reporting and telemetry, VS Code uses online services for various other purposes such as downloading product updates, finding, installing, and updating extensions, or providing Natural Language Search within the Settings editor. You can learn more in Managing online services.

You can find the VS Code licenses, third party notices and Chromium Open Source credit list under your VS Code installation location resources\app folder. VS Code's ThirdPartyNotices.txt, Chromium's Credits_*.html, and VS Code's English language LICENSE.txt are available under resources\app. Localized versions of LICENSE.txt by language ID are under resources\app\licenses.

A VS Code "workspace" is usually just your project root folder. VS Code uses the "workspace" concept in order to scope project configurations such as project-specific settings as well as config files for debugging and tasks. Workspace files are stored at the project root in a .vscode folder. You can also have more than one root folder in a VS Code workspace through a feature called Multi-root workspaces.

When you open a folder, VS Code will search for typical project files to offer you additional tooling (for example, the solution picker in the Status bar to open a solution). If you open a folder with lots of files, the search can take a large amount of time and CPU resources during which VS Code might be slow to respond. We plan to improve this in the future but for now you can exclude folders from the explorer via the files.exclude setting and they will not be searched for project files:

During the installation it will check if you have all the components needed to run the software. If some of the required componets such as GPL Ghostscript are missing, it will suggest to download and install them for you.

To save the files, you can either press the save icon or use the Windows standard Ctrl + S shortcut. It keeps the files in the /Documents/Lightshot/ folder by default. But you can change that folder and easily save files in other locations.

If you are downloading the JDK installer for 64-bit systems for update 9 Minor 1, Security 1, and Patch 1, then the file name jdk-9.minor.security.patch_windows-x64_bin.exe becomes jdk-9.1.1.1_windows-x64_bin.exe.

If you are downloading the JRE installer for 64-bit systems for update 9 Minor 1, Security 1, and Patch 1, then the file name jre-9.minor.security.patch_windows-x64_bin.exe becomes jre-9.1.1.1_windows-x64_bin.exe.

The following table lists example installation scenarios and the commands required to perform them. The notation jdk stands for the downloaded installer file base name, such as jdk-9_windows-x64_bin.exe.

During JDK install, Java menu items are added to the Windows Start menu to provide easy access to Java resources and a Java Development Kit folder is created in the Windows Start menu, which contains the following items:

With Java Web Start, you can download and run applications, such as a complete spreadsheet program or an internet chat client, without going through complicated installation procedures. With Java Web Start, you run applications simply by clicking a web page link. If the application is not present on your computer, Java Web Start automatically downloads all necessary files. It then caches the files on your computer so that the application is always ready to be run anytime that you want - either from an icon on your desktop or from the browser link. No matter which method you use to run the application, the most current, available version of the application is always presented to you.

If you have a previous version of Java Web Start, do not uninstall it. Uninstalling it will cause the download cache to be cleared, and all previously installed Java Web Start application data will have to be downloaded again. The new version will write over previous installations and automatically update browsers to use the new version. The configuration files and the program files folder used by Java Web Start have changed, but all your settings will remain intact after the upgrade because Java Web Start will translate your settings to the new form. 2ff7e9595c
