ICE AI Traffic V1.05 FSX Update

File Description:This TCAS and Traffic Display Gauge Version 1.0 has been developed for the FSX Flight Simulator SP1/2. It should also work with Acceleration. The functionality for the TCAS part is based on general specs for commercial aircrafts. It does not provide in detail the function for a specific aircraft model. It is a generic gauge, and can be simply added to any aircraft as a standalone pop-up window. In addition the gauge provides a AI traffic display in the ranges of 10,20, and 40 miles.Within this display mode, no TCAS rules are valid, which means all AI aircraft are displayed independent of any altitude or distance. For installation and functional description look at the doc inside the Zip. CREDIT goes to:Stefan Schneider for his support on special XML issues and TCAS functionality.Bob Familton for his review of the documentation and testing for SP1 FSX.Doug Dawson for his dsd-XML-sound interface in order to generate the sounds.

Only the trigger of the alarm/warn sound and the blinking lamp display willbe blocked. 2: An AI HDG pointer will be displayed. It shows in which direction the AI is moving. 3: A bearing pointer has been introduced. It allows the pilot to point to a specific AI.4: The AI additional text info display follows the structure of an ATC text.5:The AI additional text can be selected individually per AI with a mouse click.6: Each AI display contains a ID index number (0 ÃÂÂ 20).7: The design of the TCAS and Traffic Display Box has been updated.8: Increased the number of AIs displayed on the screen in display mode. File Description:This is an engine gauge(xml gauge)update for Thomas Ruth's new 727 model for FSX (tom7271.zip ). The gauge update changes the N1, N2, & EGT engine gauge calibration to reflect gauge readings within the normal and maximum ranges at TOGA(Take Off/Go-Around),MCT(Maximum Continuous thrust), and Cruise thrust settings. The original gauge readings at higher throttle settings indicated high off-scale for N1, N2, and especially EGT. The new gauge/thrust ratios may not perfectly reflect real 727 JT-8D engine settings in sim but the intent was to limit the maximum ranges. Thanks to Thomas Ruth for making such an excellent 727 freeware model for FSX and giving permission for posting this small update.

File Description:This is an update of hsi_glass.zip which provides a speed stripe on the left side and ADF bearing window is moved just below the course window (left up side). This update has to be used with HSI_glass.zip file. Two xml files are available for speed stripe. First with main steps of 5 KTS and up to 600 KTS. The xml file is named HSI_glass_IAS05_2011.xml and is convenient for light aircraft and heavy liner. Second with main steps of 10 KTS and up to 1200 KTS. The xml file is named HSI_glass_IAS10_2011.xml and is convenient for fighter.

There is almost a year in that our friend Stephen posted a quick overview of the ERJ Family. Today I will make a complete review of this fabulous aircraft developed by X-Crafts, which had an update a few days ago.

The ERJ family by X-Crafts had a major update (v1.3.0) at the end of April, and a small update (v1.3.10) containing some fixes a few days ago. I will list in sections the most important things from the major update. Note that the changelog will be attached at the end of the review.

This download provides all of the AI aircraft and flight plan packages to be used with the World of AI installer (woains24.zip). These package are compatible with both FSX and FS2004. This is the file that brings your flight simulation experience to life with AI traffic based on the real world.

Okay so, I have installed the whole package without coming through any difficulties. First off, it's totally worth the wait for the download. It is highly satisfying to actually have real airlines as AI traffic. I was hesitant before downloading it as it wasn't too appealing but trust me, it is really good. Well, as I have experienced this product, I think I should answer some FAQs.

Peace be upon our pure souls who were lost in this earthquake Come to support Earthquake Humanitarian Relief in Aleppo, you can enjoy your flight through our airspace with Full air traffic control coverageBetween: 18 - 23 ZuluDate: 10 FEB 2023You can fly from any airport inbound to Aleppo airportHope to see you there!

All good landings start in the pattern. Try to fly traffic patterns with recommended airspeeds from your airplane's POH. While the FAA offers no guidance for recommended speeds on downwind, according to the Airplane Flying Handbook, when you turn on to your base leg, you should transition to a speed of 1.4 x Vso (again, only if your manufacturer doesn't recommend a speed).

ATC could request a faster final approach speed for traffic spacing, and that's ok too. Just be prepared that if you can't decelerate by short final, you might float a bit on landing. These are some of the only times you should choose to fly significantly faster final approaches.

There is also a built in way point, 'BLKRP', that you can put into your GPS to find the lodge. It is actually located just a few miles north of Black Rapids Airport [5BK]. There is also AI traffic out on the water by courtesy of Dex Thomas.

There are special sounds and effects that were created exclusively for this package [such as blowing snow] and they can be installed from the respective zip files. CIRP repaints are available for the Grumman Goose and several types of helicopters. There is AI traffic at Bromley Peak Ice Station.

This office complex is not only a small supply depot for CIRP, but it's located at the larger regional Ketchikan Airport in Alaska and is situated within a few steps from the main passenger terminal at the airport. Because of this great location, many passengers come into the office looking to take tourist flights out to the glaciers in the Cambria Icefield near Stewart. Tourists can visit the vast glacier area and land at several ice stations situated on the glaciers for various activities. There are excursions at the Summit Ice Station that takes visitors on a hovercraft tour over the nearby Salmon and Frank Mackie glaciers. This scenery is part of the Cambria Icefield Research Project by the team at Return to Misty Moorings. The CIRP package will contain several remote outposts situated in the Icefields near Stewart. NOTAM: This scenery is for the original PAKT that came with ORBX PFJ. If you have the updated PAKT addon, then PAYWARE Version below.

The fall spawning runs are the only time in the year these omnivorous bears eat flesh. RTMM has added Grizzly bears to the scenery and you can watch them as they try to catch the leaping salmon. You might be lucky and see a "spirit bear" trying his hand [or paw], so check down by the mouth of the river when you arrive. Also updated were the seasonal tree objects and several that were above the surrounding terrain level are now fixed.

The site has been enhanced since the scenery screenshot was taken - but don't worry, your nearest human neighbor is still over 5 miles away. What are the updates? Well, you've just read a clue about one in the preceding text of this paragraph and you'll just have fly there to see rest, won't you?

Fairbanks Int'l Airport has a very unique water runway built into the complex (click on the image to the left to see it). With RTMM's BWEP scenery series, we utilized this area to add a BWEP complex by adding to the Fairbanks International airport scenery. There is a pullout there and a maintenance complex for BWEP aircraft. Dex has added a season switcher to this one so different things are happening with the Ai Aircraft during the different seasons. If you have BWEP, or only Fairbanks Int'l Airport, you will find this an interesting addition.NOTAM: the 07.13.2020 update gives you the opportunity to use this scenery set with Prepar3D V5. There is a way to turn this feature on and off in the folder.
